My friend commissioned this portrait of her great grandfather, “Goat,” for her mother’s birthday.  He served in WWI and returned to France in his seventies, hence the French newspaper in the background.  Some of her other key memories were his suspenders and little cigar.  Goat is mixed media with patterned papers, acrylic, and spray paint.
