This sunset was painted from a photograph the couple took of the very last sunset of 2011.  It was given as a Valentine:) I thought the water looked so peaceful and lovely and I tried especially to play up the beautiful contrast between the coral sunset and the slate water. Commission a Painting

We only met twice in January but my art lesson girls enjoyed making these mixed media bird paintings.  We used refreshing bright colors, stamping, patterned papers, mod podge (we love mod podge), buttons, etc.
