My friend Cheri sent me a little message last week to talk to me about Camp Bluebird.
It’s an adult cancer survivor camp held at Tombigbee State Park near Tupelo, MS.
Whether newly diagnosed or in remission, campers have a weekend perfect for relaxing and building self-esteem. Campers go fishing, have daily devotionals, campfires, craft activities, entertainment, and access to counselors.
The cost is low, but they also offer scholarships so that nobody is hindered from going.
One way they earn money for scholarships is through the raffle. . .that is where this little bird painting comes in:-) It says “God’s mercies are new every morning.”
