Happy good Friday:) Today I have all sorts of things to do besides paint. You may ask yourself how this blog post is relevant at all to my art life. .. I mentioned before that the artwork I make comes from the overflowing of joy that I feel, and its true.
1.This morning I picked my mom (and bestie) up from the hospital after having a sleep study. When I got home Joseph and Andy were piled up in bed playing checkers. Why? There’s no school today. Its Good Friday.
2. I then slept in all morning. And woke up to the smell of fresh cut grass because my handsome hubby had been in the yard all morning.
3.Joseph has been playing Kinect Sports all day and he’s pretty hilarious to watch. He has friends coming over later but he is about to help me cook dinner. I think I shall fry catfish:)
5.Let’s take a minute to reflect on why we’re home enjoying this beautiful weather today.
“The heart of salvation is the Cross of Christ. The reason salvation is so easy to obtain is that it cost God so much. The Cross was the place where God and sinful man merged with a tremendous collision and where the way to life was opened. But all the cost and pain of the collision was absorbed by the heart of God.” ~My Utmost For His Highest
Read more about the Easter Story here. I have a lovely new Easter dress and I really love Cadbury eggs. But it just gets so much better than that:)
