High Five for Friday!

I’ve been inspired by some fellow bloggers to start writing a “High Five for Friday” post. I hope it serves as a reminder to reflect on your week and look for the GOOD:)

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits” Psalms 103:2

1. Memorial Day and time with my sweet boys

It was a beautiful week and I am so loving having my boys at home. We hung out at the park, the arcade, and played a little tee ball.

2. Website Revamp

Oh, wow, I’m so excited about the new features on my website! If you have ever wondered who my web designer is, it’s none other that my wonderful hubby! He has put so much time this week into making my website look better and easier to navigate.

3. It was a good week in church.

Wednesday night we got to hear Clay Dyer speak at Hillcrest, where I go to church. He’s the professional angler that was born with no legs, no left arm, and only a partial right arm. This is not an “I’ve overcome my awful circumstances” story. Its a “God is so big” story, so go check it out. We started working on an awesome set for VBS next week! I’ll definitely be posting about that later.

4. It was a good week in art.

I finished up art lessons this week for the spring and am getting ready to launch into summer art. I’ve been working on art for VBS and some cool tee shirts that I can’t show you yet:-)  I also finished a portrait that I just love. Post to come on that one:-)

5. My birthday is this weekend!

Yayyyy!  I still get really excited about my birthday. I have a great big family that I’m looking forward to celebrating with and lots of sweet friends that always make it special. And there will be pink cake. Have a great weekend!!
